Car wash guide

Car washing is the process of removing loose dirt and road film from your car’s exterior surfaces.

That means more than just a good hosing. You have to scrub it with a car washing soap using a quality wash.

First and foremost, it keeps dirt and grit out of your soapy water where it could cause damage to your car.

Second, it makes the suds in your soapy water last longer, because your car wash shampoo doesn’t have to react to any dirt to may be putting back into the water.

Wash the wheels and tires first. If you splash wheel cleaners or dirt onto your vehicle, you can simply wash it off as you wash your vehicle. Use a cleaner that is safe for all wheels

You have to rinse down each part after you wash it. There is no point washing the hood if afterwards you rinse dirt from the roof over it! You'll just have to wash it again. So wash in this order: Roof, Windows, Front, Back, Sides, Bumpers, Tires. However, in cases where the wheels and tires are very dirty, it is a good idea to get the worst off first, to ensure they don't get dirt on other parts.
